Hello everyone,

I'm not sure how to start. I have a lot i want to say, but it's hard trying to put it into words. I guess (gladly enough) that's why there are different mediums to express oneself: art, music, writing, dance,etc. I'm relieved to say that I've found my solace in art.

There are times in life where there are some rough patches on the road. Mixed emotions, awkward situations, frustrating situations, times when you feel you're about to explode with happiness, grief, or anger. Nothing seemed to be working out the way it should've been. Everything seemed to be building up, and I wasn't sure how to handle it.

So I turned to do the one thing I least expected to do at the time. I drew. I just sat and drew and painted with music blasting around me for hours this weekend.

A sense of relief washed over me. Whatever seemed to be amiss, was gone. I'm definitely going to try to keep up drawing and painting, along with photography. Life can surprise you.

And I guess another thing I should be upfront about is that I won't always be able to check Deviant Art all the time. There will be times, that it'll seem like I'll be on at all hours and then suddenly be gone for a couple of months. I'm not sure but I guess it's because I might not have time with college stuff or that I just don't have any ideas or inspiration to share at the moment.

I hope you all understand. This entry was kinda odd, thanks for reading if you did. And I'll try to keep up with most of the deviations from the people that I watch.

If you haven't heard of the band, Explosions In The Sky, you should really check them out. They're a experimental instrumental rock group. Very interesting music, but awesome!
